Establish a NFA Trust

NOTE: If you selected one of our partnered organizations above, we will invoice them directly for establishing your NFA trust.

NFA Trust Information

Remember, your document should be designed to demonstrate that you are legally in possession of the items in your trust. If your name matches the trust, driver’s license, and tax stamp, it will be easy to identify you as the owner.

This must match the documents you will submit to the ATF for your NFA item.

Please provide the name of the county in which the trust resides in. Ex: Maricopa, Pinal, Pima, Gila, etc.

Trustor Infomation

Please provide a valid email address. This is where the completed trust documents will be emailed upon completion.

Please provide a phone number in case of any questions regarding the formation of your trust.

Successor Information

NOTE: Adding someone as a successor does not also make them a trustee or beneficiary. They must be added to these sections as well.

Beneficiary Information

You can select up to 3 individuals for this section during your initial trust formation. Beneficiaries are designated individuals who will receive the items in the NFA trust upon termination of the trust. If a beneficiary is unable to receive the NFA item(s), the successor will choose how to best hold the items for the beneficiary’s sole benefit. Remember, beneficiaries are not automatically trustees. If you wish for a person to be a trustee as well, they would have to be added to this question and the next. Our trusts also include a form to help you amend trust beneficiaries at any time. Beneficiaries do not need to sign the trust and you cannot list yourself as a beneficiary.

If you choose NOT to add any more beneficiaries at this time, it's okay. You'll be able to add more beneficiaries at any point after the trust is formed. Our trusts come with all the documents needed to add or remove beneficiaries easily.

Trustee Information

You can select up to 3 individuals for this section during your initial trust formation. Trustees are the individuals who can use, transport, or possess the NFA items listed in the trust. It is a suggestion to include anyone that might have access to your NFA items and those whom you wish to be able to use your NFA items when you are not present. You, as the creator of the trust, are also considered to be a trustee by default. Our trusts also include a form to help you amend trust trustees at any time. It is the responsibility of the trustor to ensure all trustees conform to local, state, and federal laws surrounding NFA items including age restrictions. All trustees will be required to certify they are not a prohibited person under federal and state law. Co-trustees will need to sign the trust and you cannot include yourself as a trustee.

Remember, these individuals should be legally able to possess a NFA without your presence (Greater than 21 years of age, etc)
